Description:

Even daily used items can be elevated to hand-crafted beauty. This lovely letter rack reflects the aesthetic preferences of the late 19th century, which was a nod to the Arts and Crafts movement. During this time, letter racks were placed on desks or side tables in the homes to organize incoming and outgoing mail. The dark finish is typical of oak furniture from this era, which was stained to enhance the grain and provide a sense of warmth and richness.
