Description:

Leather firebuckets were essential tools for firefighting. These buckets were typically made from thick leather and reinforced with iron or copper rivets. Often, these buckets were owned by individual households or businesses. This is a stunning survivor. It has wonderful patina, a leather strap still in place, and a one-of-a-kind presence.

These are now sought after by collectors of firefighting memorabilia and historical artifacts, prized by their craftsmanship and historical importance.
