Description:

These beautiful meat domes were popular in 19th-century wealthy homes and hotels during formal dinners. They were generally used to keep roasted meats hot and protected at the dining table. It still serves its original purpose, keeping foods on a platter warm and protected. It's a great solution to plastic wrap or foil, especially when entertaining! It is beautifully elegant and adds a pop of bling for any occasion. Please see the photos; there are a few dings on the silverplate.  Walker and Hall marks are highly collectible both for their historic significance and aesthetic appeal.
