Description:
Apothecary jars or dispensing jars were essential in pharmacies for storing and dispensing medicinal ingredients. Pois d' Iris refers to Iris seeds, which have historically been used in perfumery - the dates on the bottle indicate the batch date.  Lovely addition of social history, and a rare, perfect storage item complete with lid.
